    Hi All

Finally bought my first house now for the most important thing my first proper TV purchase!

Ive been reading on here over the past few weeks some great advice given by a lot of posters so hoping for that again on my first post. Basically my budget to be max 700-800 but not even keen on stretching to that 8 mark but ifs its worth my while I will. I was originally planning on getting the Samung 49mu7000 for 650 euro but the more I’ve read the more I see people suggesting try push out for the bigger model. I’m now looking at 55inch TVs I’ve seen a few but my knowledge on Tvs in general is very basic so hope yours can help steer me in the right direction the tv will mainly be used for watching football, YouTube, Netflix, streams ect and the kids channels. I’m now looking at hisense tv h55ukauk 55 from richer sounds or Samsung UE55MU7000 which goes over budget at around 1000 euro.

Any advise or questions need to guide me in the right direction of a good deal or a great tv will be much appreciated.

Welcome to the forum and congratulations on your first house! :)

Pricing in ROI can be a little different from the UK so it might be a bit more of a challenge to know which models there are good value compared to here.

For example the Samsung 55MU7000 if EUR1000 is a bit on the expensive side.

How much are the following TVs available for?

    Samsung 55MU8000, Samsung 55MU9000, Samsung 55NU8000
    Panasonic 58EX750
    Hisense 55U7A, Hisense 55NU8700
Sony 55XE85xx (where the xx is random numerals for the same model).

Or if you want to save some money:
    Panasonic 58EX700
    Hisense 55N6800, Hisense A6100/A6200/A6500
    Sony 55XE70xx

Samsung 55MU8000 - can be bought online (lambdatek) for 1025 euro

Samsung 55MU9000 – can be bought online (ask) for 1253

Panasonic 58EX750 – can be bought from Panasonic store 1199 euro

55U7A Hisense 55NU8700 cant find either of these online on pricespy.ie

Cheaper models more in my price range being honest..

Panasonic 58EX700 – can be bought in store here for 720 euro

Hisense 55N6800 – can be bought from richer sounds for 720 euro

Hisense A6100/A6200/A6500 – cant find these online may be enterting wrong….

Sony Bravia KD-55XE7003 – can be bought in store for 789 euro

Of the cheaper models do you see anything worthwile for me there or any other alternatives which might be better?

I taught I also seen a good offer on here for Hisense collection only in store from RIchersounds for Hisense 55inch cant find it now might have been able to get my friend to collect this for me if its better than the above deals.

I think the Hisense U7A is best value:
    Hisense H55U7A (TVs)

Shame you can't buy it from amazon UK, but even at 900EUR its still better value than the rest.

You mentioned richer sounds before but I don't know which Hisense model you mean.
    isn't the right model number.

Scrap that, just found it from Richer IE RicherSounds Ireland - Hisense 55U7A

I feel like that may even be a pricing mistake since the lower end A series is priced cheaper. Snap it up quick :)
