Ok, I’m off to uni in 10 days and due to me finding £1600 insurance claim I’m looking for a new speaker system, at the moment I’m holding on with a Yamaha dsp-A595a into Eltax liberty 5+, however I feel I’m lacking a lot of detail, I’ve narrowed it down to a couple of options, B&W 602 s3 with a nice pair of stands and stick with my Yamaha DSP, or go with Rotel, and grab an RA-01 and a pair of Mordaunt Short 902 Avants, I might just have to go and audition them, however finding a place with all of those brands available to me might be hard?

My advice... forget speakers, keep the money your going to need every penny at Uni. When you have your degree, a decent job and the basics covered i.e. a house etc then you should consider the luxury of B&W speakers. :)
