    Hi all,
I'm after a new 28" widescreen TV but after reading all the stories about 100Hz I thought I'd stick with 50Hz.

Trouble is if you want stuff like 3 SCART sockets (and more than one of them with RGB) or big teletext page memories there seems to be little choice. All the good features seem to be on the 100Hz sets.

    What would people here recommend?

    Thanks,
    Sim

Take a look at the 100hz sets and make your own mind up. You will find an equal number of people who are more than satisfied with 100hz sets.

Myself, i hate viewing on 50hz sets. The flicker and whine irritate me. 100hz sets are a Godsend. On the other hand my wife cant detect the flicker or whine but also prefers the 100hz picture. Whenever someone sees the tv picture i have, they always say how good it is.

Make your own mind up and ignore other people's prejudices on 100hz.

Hitachi C28WF535N has a zero flicker 50Hz screen with super picture, 2 RGB + 1 non-RGB scart and 500 page teletext memory. Digital Dolby 5.1 line-level outputs.
