Beware --- the warranty is return to base parts and labour only. I ordered panny 7 series from them based on phone help line telling me warranty was on site, but when I recieved receipt it stated return to base so I cancelled and it has taken 8 days and many phone calls and e-mails toget my money refunded.

I bought a 32" Sony from them 2 years ago - no prob so far. It was cheap, so the saving is my sinking fund if any thing goes wrong.

I got a Toshiba 32WD98DB from them about five years ago and incredibly it cost £850, which was roughly half price.

Never had a problem with it.

    Marvellous.

I bought my AE100 from them as a refurbished item. I hoped that being a refurbished (i.e repaired) it would be one with the psu capacitors upgraded to cope better with 220/240 volts and so far it seems that way as no problems. The only thing I don't like is their rip off courier prices. My projector was £30 and its a tiny little box smaller than most dvd player boxes. The courier price was at least £18 over what it should have been.

I bought an AE100 from these guys about 2 years ago and picked it up. The product was OK but I have never seen a more flea bitten looking store in my life!!

It was in a grubby part of town and the store looked more derelict tbh!

Could have changed since but did make me think......

    Hi- my tuppence worth...
I bought a Tosh 46" RPTV from them 4yrs ago- never had a problem with it.
Also bought a Sony HS10 projector just over a year ago- it was graded and turned out to have the "lamp light" problem where it didn't start up- had no trouble getting a refund.

New store is very nice, has PJ s on demo and is quite close to the city centre. I'd certainly deal with Robt Whyte again if I was chosing a Sony or Panasonic product (no sure if they still deal with Toshiba).
    Cheers
