Dropped the car in to a BMW Main dealer.
In for some potential warranty work (extended warranty). They required the service book which was handed to them and not left in the car.

I picked up the car on Sat morning where i was told the service book should be on the passenger seat or glove. Not there. I was then advised that the technician working on the car may still have it in his tool box, and that they would ring me today.

No call. I then called back at 6pm to be told that they still haven't found it.
    This isn't looking good!

The car is a 2007, so had 5 stamps. 4 main dealer (1 in Poland), last was an Indy.

If they have lost my service book, what are my options? It makes the car difficult to sell on (which i am thinking about as family growing).

What should i do now besides pester them daily? If it has been lost, how should i escalate this?

Ask them to replace the book and stamp the book with the dates that the services should have been done.
