I loved the first series and I've liked the first couple of season 2 but am I alone in thinking that this is really going off the boil?

its getting really wordy at the moment, it started off real well, but I think its building up to a big finalé.

Definitely. It took me a couple of episodes last series to get used to the wordiness of the language. Then I was fine. I've found this series a lot harder to understand and follow than the first one.

Having said that, I just love this programme. There aren't many shows with so many strong well-written, well-acted characters. Love it!

i see the guy who had the pox in series one has turned up again as a different character this season. Just like the guy who killed wild bill turned up as the loony guy who kills the hookers.

Yeah I know what you mean about the wordyness of it.

Depending on how this series pans out is definately going to depend upon my watching the next series, assuming there's going to be another. But the way things are at the moment then the rest of this series is starting to look in doubt for remaining on my Sky planner.

I really wish someone would shoot EB

First series was great, obviously it had to deal with Wild Bill as that is Deadwood's main claim to fame.
I prefer the second series - story is more interesting and the scripts are excellent - so many words that you can miss much of the details unless you can rewind it with Sky+ :D
