Took them long enough. Good overall second season but took a while to find it's feet after the success of the first, shame the show has been cancelled unless another broadcaster picks it up. Mind you the waffle house set turned up on SG1 a few weeks ago so they better hurry before everything is sold off
Oh no! Not another good show cancelled, so many of my favourites have been cancelled in the last year, I suppose I can just blame the american public's bad taste Keith
Why do so many good US shows get dumped. It used to be we (UK) made all the best TV and the BBC made no bones about telling us and the rest of the world. Now after years the US IMO make almost all the good shows. West Wing, 24, sapranos being serious and loads of others like Dead Like Me that are all better than the casual viewing junk we now churn out, then they axe them, while we continue to churn out rubbish like Eastenders, most of the other soaps, the bill (i could go on and on) forever. Why not dump them.
Much as I dislike 99.9% of the UK television output there is no denying that for the most part the ratings prove that people are prepared to watch. Granted the ratings for the BBC and ITV are in the toilet compared to the hey day when they had no competition but they are still the top two broadcasters by a long way. While us Brits watch Soaps they will continue to make them, same for the reality shows, celeb based shows and endless sitcoms/quiz shows all of which are a pale imitation of the output from both the BBC and ITV of the past.
