De-tox / re-tox

This forum is like a drug.

One needs to stay on it to get anything out of it.

Staying toxed means buying AV-toys in frequent intervalls.

The topics are always focused on the very latest models, to awaken one's lust for purchase.

The manifoldness of offers is absorbing.

Being de-toxed means settling with a complete setup.

This demands the capacity to accept a project as complete.

This means losing the ability and interest to talk about the current offers.

What's left are the generic posts about LCD vs Plasma which never seems to get old...

After a while, one might either choose to look for another hobby or re-enter the cycle of re-tox.

This means buying more AV stuff...

Have you ever seen such a perfect circle ?
