They've had a site revamp and it looks much more professional. You can set up a membership account as well which saves you tapping in your details with each order.
They're a great company to use fo asian films and arrive on the dot six days from dispatch confirmation and are cheaper than chips. Just wish the copy of The Cup they sent me wasn't in 4:3, but I never checked!:( They also send out orders so it looks like a parcel a relative might send you from overseas so customs is never a problem.

And you have to love their use of english as well

"Below are the transactions you have made and their corresponging status"

    Bless 'em!!:D :D :D :D

    Yeah, they're pretty nice.

Gotta watch those specs on R3s though. Been caught out before myself. Maybe they'd let you return it :)

it only cost pennies so I'm not too worried, if i like it I'll search for a 1.85:1 version.

Totally agree, their packaging is excellent.

First time I got a package from them I thought they'd sent me chocolates or something :D

Shipping varies, but I seem to recall HK$40 being about the average..... James'll tell you if I'm wrong :D Anyway, don't worry about shipping - just look at the total - you won't be disappointed :D

I use Yahoo to convert, and then usually slap on an extra few pence to bump it up to what the credit card company are likely to use.

    Use this link:

    http://uk.finance.yahoo.com/m5?a=1&s=HKD&t=GBP&c=0

At the moment, one Hong Kong dollar = 8p

think the figure of 40HK$ sounds about right, put it this way my last delivery of We Were Soldiers, Insomnia (my film of the year at the mo) and Volcano High came to less than £24 in total!! :D  :D

Shipping to Luxembourg (and any other European country?) is 30$HK. I bought shaolin soccer and spirited away and they posted them in a nice package that actually looks like someone send u chocolate. They also put a private address as the sender and the customs slip as gift hence customs can't get their hands on them. They also use real stamps not prepaid envelopes.
I also got mine about 6days after dispatch

They can here. £35.99 (or thereabouts) is the maximum allowance for gifts.

yes, theoretically< the limit for luxembourg is around 50€. the point is that it is more likely to get cought by customs if the price is displayed than if they say gift,no?
Then again I can't imagine that u couild spent over 36quid with dddhouse anyway as the prices are pretty low. sure u could buy ten DVDs at once but that's just tempting fate, isn't it?

Didn't they put the price down on yours? They're supposed to, even if it is a gift. Maybe I'm unlucky, but they tick "gift" on my orders and write down the price. As you say though, not a big deal 'cause £35.99 buys you a load of DVDs. Also, I don't use them much because their R3s often lack extras, anamorphic transfers etc.
