Has anyone ever had to return a faulty disk back to dddhouse? If so, is the turnaround fairly quick taking into account the postage times there and back (around two weeks). And, is it just the disk you send back to them and not the DVD case - there's a bit lost in translation on the sites help page.

    Cheers

I have had a few faulty discs and emailed them on each occasion. A replacement disc arrived 3 days later:)
They didn't even ask me to return the faulty one but the replacement was only in a paper sleave. Can't fault the level of service I have got .

Thanks Hawklord. I've emailed them explaining the problem rather than just returning it. So far, I have found their service to be second to none, if they do the same and send out a new disk rather than asking for the faulty one back, I don't think their service could get much better.:smashin:

I take it the replacements arrived OK even though they were only in paper sleaves? Did they reply to your emails, or just send out the replacements?

They replied to my emails within 24 hrs and I received the discs in mint condition. I think it's probably just cheaper for them to send replacements than pay for returns and processing faulty discs.

hope you get the same level of service I got:)

I had an email back from them today...they say:

Never know, the replacement may cross in the post. Wouldn't of thought it's going to cost too much to just send the disk back.

Ohh well it might take a little longer but you can't really complain at the level of service especially with the prices we pay:)

    Hi,

Who foots the bill for sending the faulty disc back?. And how much does it cost these days.

As you say, their stuff is so cheap and they offer such a good service, I don't mind spending the odd couple of quid here and there if I get a faulty disk.

Bet it costs more to send just the disk back from the UK than it did to send to send the whole lot from HK.

Just noticed on their site that it's the customer who pays for returning the disk, as for how much it is, not sure yet, I'll try and get it sent off tomorrow.

I sent the disk back with a covering letter in one of those A5 cardboard-backed envelopes - usually used for photographs - and it cost around £1.90.
