I currently have a prologic amplifier connected by phono interconnects to the amp. If i buy the Yamaha A5 amp do i have to connect the player to the amp by either coax or optical, will i not get DD/DTS decoding from phono leads?

    Thanks, jon.

You must have coax or optical for DD or DTS. Before you ask, it doesn't really matter but go for coax.
