Hello all. A few weeks ago I knew next to nothing about home cinema. I recently purchaced a projector which I'm very happy with and have found an opulence of useful information on these forums regarding it. But the matter of the best way to wire it all up is starting to bewilder me. The PJ had 2 VGA type inputs (it also has 2 S-video and 1 composite inputs - but I gather that the VGA input is best quality wise) I have my DVD player connected directly to the PJ with a componant to vga cable. This leaves one VGA port for the rest of my equipment. From other threads I have concluded that I should get a Holdan SCART Router to connect 2 decoders 1 VCR and a PS2 to. (or would a Keene SCART commander be any better?...which has a VGA out... What is confusing me is what is the best way to connect the SCART box to the PJ. I would have thought a simple SCART to VGA cable would do the job, but then products such as the Syncblaster and RGB to plasma VGA came to my attention. Do I need these devices...or will a simple cable do it? Is the only way to know to try each way and look at the quality. Please somone put me out of my misery.
