Every now and then I'll see some rubber-banding when I'm driving around on the bike. Haven't really noticed the past couple of days though. You getting frame drops when you're on foot? There was one area where I dropped about 15% frame rate but think it was due to a red light illuminating everything around it. Was near the Nero Checkpoint with the transport trains on the bridge that goes to a dead end.

edit - 3080 here as well.

Wouldn't say rubber banding , or frame drops , just the odd stutter briefly for every now and again for 3/ 4 minutes
Will play it again tonight and see whats it like , could of been something updating in the background.

I forgot just HOW much this game can kick your ass at times. Being attacked the at least 4 freakers then 3 wolves decided to join in.

Played the PS4 version on Hard 2 but decided to go with Survivor 2 this time around so I share your pain! You can't run away from the hordes in Survivor 2 apparently (haven't tried yet) as they match your sprint so you need to be tactical about it. But I've been killed dozens of times now by freakers this time around. Was even killed by one lurching for me while I was going past it on my bike. That never happened once on the PS4.

I was enjoying this until today. The game crashes on the mission where I`m riding my bike to go and collect some TNT. Crashes at the exact spot everytime.

Disk clean up and a couple of restarts seems to have fixed the issue. Only issues I`ve had in 12 hours.

I did pick this up in the end and have actually really enjoyed it. What makes it a good open world game are thing things it doesn't do. There are not hundreds of quests so the ones there are feel meaningful. Same for weapons, most new acquisition feels very different and changes up the gameplay. There is very little in the way of collectables and other guff like that. I like how story driven it is too.

Graphics very good. Bike feels like a real bike. Most characters are a nice shade of grey. I enjoy the way the Deacon mumbles to himself all the time. I've only just got to Lost Lake but its has definitely pleasantly surprised me so far.

My only complaints would be that fighting people is a bit too easy and the wolves are really fricking annoying. Also some of the scripting on the missions is too restrictive. For example there's one mission where you have to escort someone through a tunnel with enemies in. You can just drive past them and exit the tunnel, but then you fail the mission. The games makes you stop, get off the bike and fight them. Very silly.
