    Congratulations. With it being upside-down there compared with the rest of the world do you have to ask SVS for reversed phase or anything? :devil:

    BTW: What voltage and frequency is your mains electricity? Does SVS know this? :D

    Have fun. :)

    Fun? You bet!
    Being a British colony we have the same as the UK.
    Yes I did let them know it was 220v, as sending a PB12-plus/2 back and forth across the Pacific may prove a tad expensive!
    Just remains to map the frequency reponse of my DeF Tech for comparison purposes and watch the SVS come to Daddy.
    It feels good to be 'In the club' at last.

    Des - many congratulations on your purchase and welcome to the club! As the proud owner of one of these I know how much enjoyment you are going to get out of it, and look forward to your first thoughts on getting it. Remember to have several large/strong people on hand to move it into position for you when it arrives, then after a quick set up, pop in "Darla" :eek: , and bass for you will never be the same again.

    Enjoy! :thumbsup:

    Thanks for all the good wishes, just waiting for credit card clearance and the shipping number, for tracking purposes.

    Due to a cock up on SVS end my little box should be sent out tomorrow :clap:
    My bank authorised my credit card on the 9th, but took several emails and phone calls to sort out.
    Still at least it will be on the way now :smashin:
    Pfote, how's your new friend ?

    @Des
    my new friend has more headroom than needed, he plays loud and clear, just wonderful. interestingly he makes much less problems in that room than my old velodyne, room resonances and room gain are still there, but the dips and peaks are way smaller. i even removed my BFD because i had the feeling that it slows down the bass a little bit, but that might be in my imagination.
    The only downside of my new SVS: as with other precise equipment, one can hear now very clear if its a decent LFE track or a poor one, some (titanic to name one) have a really muddy, blurry bass, whereas others like Master&Commander really start to shine ...
    but i'm used to it anyway because of my studio monitors ;)

    hope you get your svs soon so you can share your experience with us :thumbsup:
