Count me in! A steel would be amazing!

I'm hoping to see a release of Day of the Dead (1985) in 4K. Bub in UHD!

It shouldn't be
Pretty sure the US cut was what was the directors cut so should be as intended

But can’t wait for this on 4K

Lost count of how many times I have seen this great film ... & I was lucky enough to meet the George Romero himself in 2005 at a convention & get a personalised signature from him.

If it's based in the Italian release (which I have) then sadly not.
It's not as they are doing a full restoration.

Glad I didn't pull the trigger on the Italian release.

Definitely a day one purchase for me.

Love the film so will be like a tramp on chips with the Second Sight Films release even though I own the really nice Italian release -will be interesting to see how they tidy it up.

There's also a France release coming in April:

Hmmmm.

I really want this. Favourite film, owned it on all types of media, have it at least twice on BR etc etc.

BUT I think I may wait for some reviews of PQ before leaping. Especially for the other cuts, as I have a feeling this is going to have a premium price attached to it.

Also, seeing as other European companies are releasing 4k versions, I wonder who will have the best transfer?

I’m still hoping this gets released
I just saw Texas Chain has been released in another thread so that is what prompted me to think of Dawn again & gives more hope it will happen

It is going to happen - not sure why there are doubts here! Just wait a bit longer...
