Was that at £2.99 by any chance?? Saw it end but wasn't planning on bidding
Thanks Theydon.. But that is my book hehe noone replied so i listed at around what i thought the going price was!
My book now lmao great price btw
Well I did say it was a very good price and that if I didnt have that already, I would have bought it.....I reckon if it had been an auction, the book could have gone for less unless someone other than cdavison would have bid, so a BIN price was probably best.
From my experience of sword in the storm it seems to go more like £50+ on bids but £30 posted in opinion is good
While I may have diligently watched eBay and recorded prices that was a few years back and I no longer do so, now simply concentrating on books that I am missing, giving a rough estimation on prices - for instance I paid less than £30 for a signed Rigante book a few yeasts back.
I watch anything that catches my interest really even if I already have it just to see what it sells for alought over the last year one person seems to have bought nearly every rare/signed gemmell book and put them up for sale on abe after receiving them at a mark up of course but they seemed to have stopped buying at the minute
This looks good and not a bad price I suppose :
Legend by David Gemmell (Hardback, 1993) A Graphic Novel | eBay
if I was flush I'd go for it but out of budget for a few months.
Don't forget to get your pre-orders in for Stella Gemmells book due in april i think.
And if anyone spots another Legend Spectrum and they don't want it please let me know.
Look at the bottom left front corner of the cover, and in the open pages, look at the mid top and mid bot. Could be just the camera, but it looks warped to me?
I would definitely ask for more pictures if anyone was going for it.
It does look a little crinkly possibly from damp I think that's expensive usually on bids these go for around £160
Did one of you gazump me today? Not a happy bunny.......
Why what you loose out on I haven't bid on anything recently just been selling excess
Not me mate, i check on here now before bidding as seems silly bidding against fellow DG fans from on here.
I don't mean losing a bidding war that's the whole point of eBay - I lost out on a book I was the winning bidder on as someone contacted the seller and offered a price to end the auction days before it was supposed to end without letting me know in case I would have counter bid.
.....and sorry for sounding so petulant...I was quite annoyed.
Ouch that's nasty if I do that it's a soon as its listed and not days into it what you lose??? If you don't mine me asking
Deciding whether to get arsey with the seller or not, as they have not replied to my question on ending the bid early, there is no reason listed, and its against ebay's policy to end a transaction.
How can I end my listing immediately?
See if you can complain to eBay I can't speak on this matter really there has been loads of times I've ended stuff for pll
I'm hoping you can help me I have a copy of david gemmell legend graphic novel signed copy That I want to sell what sort price should I ask ?????
Hardback version, signed 4 times limited to 200? Or softback signed by DG?
soft back signed by david gemmell
Unsigned ones go Upto around £30 on eBay for a very good copy assuming yours is very good I'd ask £40-£50 possibly even more
Thank you for all your help I now have an idea what to ask for on ebay
Got the expected, [company] asked me to pull it response.
The item - Stella Gemmell's The City Proof edition.
Forgot about her book when's it out???
And can you get signed copies via an e-signing or will she be doing any signings at all??
I have no idea I went to look and it ces out next month as for signings would assume it depends on her popularity really and if the book turns out ok
Well if she does do any signings in the UK I would appreciate someone getting me a copy!!!...for a price of course
I should be able to help.
If anyone sees anything about a signing I wouldn't mind hearing about it
