yes, I am another one of those sad gits who have tried to save money on the sound system and regret it now. To be honest, I am not unhapy with this "all-in-one" system, the main problem is the centre channel, it's too flat, sometimes it's hard to understand any converstaion going on and then the music kicks in and you go deaf....
Anyway, would anyone have a tip on replacing the speaker(s) to get decent sound out of it (without replacing the whole system). The current speakers are 3 Ohm, 30 W, and I am not sure what I could replace them with? Any advise???
    Thanks!

Have you tried turning up the level on the centre channel?

    I have a DAV-S300 and don't have this problem.

Chips, thanks, yeah I have tried that, I can get the volume up but it sounds flat compared to the rest of the effects. So my question really is if it would make sense to try a different speaker or is the output simply not big enough...?
