Data usage Apple TV playing movies from iPad

I've got a question I can't get my head around....

If I have a movie mp4 file loaded on the iPad and I use AirPlay to stream it from the iPad to Apple TV. Will it used up and chew through my data plan?

I am not downloading the file from the Internet (itunes) just pushing it from my iPad to Apple TV.

Anyone worked this out?
Thanks TJ

No, it uses your WiFi to stream from the iPad to the Apple TV....

As above, it's all "internal" data so will be on your own wifi network and won't use any of your data allowance.
