I need to buy a data projector for my company, primarily to project Powerpoint presentations with.

I presume XGA native would be preffered, but low weight and fan noise would be great, plus the ability to control the mouse via the PJ's remote control.

Any suggestions, and can a SVGA be just as good as XGA anyway?

Budget is circa £1k - £1.5k ideally, exc VAT.

    Many thanks.

We bough a hitachi CPX327 last year and are still very happy with it, together with the service and pre-sales advice from Ivojo. Current model is the CPX328 for £1,281. It's easily bright enough to use with the lights on , lightweight, and has a nice short throw. There's a whisper mode, and I'm pretty sure you can use the remote for mouse control (never used the feature though).
