Data breach message

Active Member
Hi all,

for the last 2 or 3 weeks now ive been getting a full screen message that randomly pops up on my poco f1 android phone when im using my firefox browser to say there has been a data breach and i should change my password. I havent seen anything like this before and it got me a little worried so i did a scan with my avast anti virus and the only problem that it found was that the web shield wasnt enabled but i couldnt find the option in my settings to enable it.

Is this message correct and how do i enable the web shield

Any help would be most appreciated

Kind regards Mark

Difficult to say based on description. Maybe a screenshot may or may not assist

Could easily be bad scripts on a website so an advert takes over the display (this can happen on the Sky Sports website on a mobile browser, but not on desktop browser)

Or it could be a real positive or false positive by your installed security software
