Hello,
I have a 2009 Volvo that came with a very standard stereo system (CD, non-DAB Radio, auxillary in and that is about it).
There are two things that I could really do with:
1. A monitor in the car that can be switched for use as a parking camera and
2. A monitor that can mirror what is on my phone - my phone is a bit small to be used as a proper sat-nav.
I have had a look around and there are replacement stereo units that can do all of this, plus a whole lot more, but Volvo seem (like lots of manufactures) to make it pretty much impossible to stick in any old double din replacement, leaving you to spend stupid money on one of their own systems.
Is it possible, therefore, to mount a touchscreen monitor to my dashboard and somehow switch inputs so that it can either show the view from a parking camera or otherwise show what is on my phone?
