    Hi!
Does anyone know if the region 2 versions of Dark Angel DVD's are cut?

I don't think so, the main difference is that R2 is widescreen and R1 isn't.

    According to www.dvdcompare.net

"OVERALL: Draw - between R2 and R4 for being anamorphic widescreen. R1 has some exclusive extras though. It's known that diretcor James Cameron prefers fullscreen as that is the way it was intended to be viewed, however the widescreen quality is a lot better than the fullscreen.

    Cuts:

    R1 No Cuts
    R2 No Cuts
    R4 No Cuts"

JC may prefer fullscreen but given how many of the shots are framed that is not how it was intended to be viewed. I've seen both and the widescreen is better.
