Anyone owns a Darim MPEGator 4? This card sells for ~1K US$ and apperently does a dual-pass MPEG 4 encoder.
I am wondering if anyone tried this card and can tell if the resulting output is as small as a non-real-time software based mpeg-4 (divx, xvid etc.) compression - in other words does it produce the same file size for a standard quality TV output.
Any other Mpeg-4 encoders that does dual-pass that yoiu can recommend (Hopefuly one which also includes a TV Tuner...)? - I looked at the Leadtek WinFast TV2000 XP expert card but it seem to include a single-pass mpeg 4. I read that the result of one-pass MPEG 4 is files which are 2-3 times greater...
