    Hi everyone
I am not sure if this is the right place for this!

Just got back from visiting my elderly parents, my Mum has been taken ill.

My Father informed me that they were going to BOURNEMOUTH this evening with two friends, to see the DANIEL O’DONNELL Christmas Show. Unbelievably one of the friends has just been re-admitted to hospital with a minor complication after a recent knee operation.
Due to these unfortunate circumstances they will be unable to go to the show!

So if anyone out there can make THIS EVENINGs DANIEL O’DONNELL Christmas Show 7.30pm WINDSOR HALL Bournemouth BIC.

    I have 4 Terrace Tickets (EE17 to EE20)

The tickets would need to be collected from WIMBORNE.
I am offline until 2pm I will check back then.

What a shame... If DO'D was performing over here in Ireland, the blue rinse brigade would have beaten a track to your door for the tickets!... Nice gesture anyway!

Yes they do and he is extremely popular... Once a year in the summer, he opens his house for his "fans" to come round for a cup of tea and the crowds extend further than the eye can see! ...amazing!..... wouldn't be my cup of tea though...but then again I haven't much hair to blue rinse!

Shame, had I noticed this sooner I may have taken you up on this :(

Do you live in Wimborne then? Can I ask where? (out of interest - fellow Wimbornite here - feel free to PM :))

Sorry Roebuck - I hadn't read the post thoroughly and didn't realise your mum wasn't well. I didn't mean to trivialise that by making a smart alec reply. Apologies and I hope she feeling better.

    Hi
Sorry for the delay in replies, I have been busy visiting hospitals, talking to doctors and looking after my Dad etc.

    mep
Thank you for your kind concern, my Mum is making progress, we are hoping she will be well enough to spend Christmas at home with us!

No need to apologise, I am sure if I’d had more time to phrase my OP better, someone would have benefited from the tickets.

As you say, a pity you did not find the post early enough, it would have been good to have sent a fellow Wimbornite into the throng of blue rinse groupies!

Seriously I have seen D o’D on the telly and have heard many good things about him.

Whilst I am here I would like to thank all members particularly hornydragon, maw and mep who have been invaluable with my newbie introduction to the world of AV and Plasma. I spent hours reading many posts/threads and gained a lot of knowledge, which helped me to put together and enjoy my first system.

Christmas and New Year wishes to everyone.
