So i just ordered one for me, whats a fiver eh.
Never seen it either.
Brilliant film, this. Crazy price.
outstanding value. great spot
nice one del boy another 3-discer for my collection i wonder if it comes in a digipak or an amaray.
Theres a cardboard sleeve, then inside that a sort of cardboard book, where inside the disks are mounted in full plastic holders that flip over. The cardboard book within the sleeve does not fold out itself.
Good spot. Duly ordered.
Slightly OT, can anyone advise how to save details with CDWOW. I ticked the box saying save details as I went through the order process but it didn't seem to offer the opportunity to enter a password etc...PJ
Just a question, whats so great about this release? I have an older single-disc version and its got DTS, sounds amazing. Whats the difference? just extra features?
I think it's extended quite significantly vs the original theatrical release, hence it's spread over 2 discs with the third holding the features. The Korean special edition in a leather case has the original release as a 4th disk...PJ
Is that £5.99 after a discount, or by following a specific link, as I have just checked the cdwow site and it is 6.99.
If so, does anyone have the link/voucher details.
Hmm, very interesting. Thanks!
Yes it's £5.99 after a discount. There's a CDWOW pepsi voucher knocking about that I used last night and it worked, have a look on the dvdbargainsuk.com forum, it has details there.
and £4.99 after 2 discounts
this is a flipping fantabulous spot
... and yes list price is £6.99 but actually goes down to £4.99 after using those £1 bewhere/blackcircles clickthru's and and a £1 evoucher (pepsi max etc)
Well, I felt a bit embarrassed ordering it for £5.99 but perhaps I neet to get a little more thick skinned!
The only "pass thru" link I saw very quickly went "t1t$ up" when it was reported to CDWOW, didn't know of any others. By the looks of it the bewhere/black circle link is a use-once-only?
yep, so I always use multiple addresses for this sort of thing - I own a particular web domain, so anything@.....co.uk works and diverts straight to my main address and is stored in my "vouchers" folder
similarly i have an ntlworld account, and you have 15 email addresses, 14 of which can be deleted after you're done with them, and then 14 new ones created
I rarely purchase DVD's (mainly rent) hence probably won't need this level of ingenuity as new links/offers appear over time, but I get the idea.
Stonking bargain - thanks for the heads up!
Excellent spot! Theres another bargain to add!
Ordered my copy.
has anyone noticed how cd-wow tend to have one or two jaw droppingly cheap bargains every week at the moment?
ooh and on a seperate note.. mine's shipped
I'm not complaining!
Good job... if you do, they may stop 'em.
they are one of the best no doubt. every other day I check.
also dvdfromkorea.com are worth a check every now and again (customs friendly). They regularly sell limited edition sets, and are VERY cheap although postage brings the price up. I just received Infernal Affairs trilogy and its an unbelievably excellent set (quality is better than pic on site dictates). only issued 2000 copies as well. PQ is out of this world as is sound quality (DTS and DD mixes)
Sorry for wandering off topic.
But thanks to the excellent (if rather sneaky ) advice on this thread I've just managed to order Band of Brothers for £17.99.
Never seen it before. But people say it's pretty good...PJ
Its ace, i want the tin set but have had no luck finding it for months so may go for this.
trust me - your in for a treat. Excellent series which gets better after repeated viewings. £17.99 is a steal. Enjoy
As someone recently said... strokes £20 and admires free shelf space...
You can pick up the tin pretty readily on eBay if you really want it...PJ
If you're willing to pay full price, play.com have it in stock.
Im not willing though.
