We've had damp problems on and off, but they are appear to come back on the back wall upstairs and downstairs. Probably since that's where the wind hits with all the rain.

We have rendering with a pebble dash finish, I assume it's cement rendered. I have a strong feeling it's this causing the walls to become damp.

This link suggests you should get rid of cement render and replace with limestone, once it dries out I guess.

damp problems caused by cement render trapping water into walls

Does anyone have any advice on this?

    Cheers
