Pretty windy down here in the big smoke. Not crazy.

Very bad in South Lanarkshire at the moment. Just passed a bus shelter which has been lifted and dumped 50 yds across the road, it's lying in pieces, fences, wheelie bins, tree branches littering the roads.

Just went outside to check the roof. Mine is ok, but my terraced neighbour's is damaged. Thankfully he does not leave here full-time. Big trampolines are flying like umbrellas.

Pretty windy up here on the Staffordshire/Derbyshire borders... Not as bad as some of you, by the sounds of it, but in my apartment I have extractor fans in the bathrooms which lead up to the loft space, and when the wind picks up it whistles through the fans making it sound like there's a pair of drill-wielding maniacs in my bathrooms - not the greatest thing to be woken up to in the middle of the night!

Bah...just checked back garden and there's a tile on the decking. :(

Have moved the car off the driveway onto the road to be on the safe side.

I was just going to bed at 4am when this tropical storm started. Had to re-park the car and secure weeliebins. Not slept a single minute yet.

Pretty bad here too I think a children's plastic table blew over my roof and have dislodged a few tiles. 2012 end of the world or just a bit of wind?

Pretty scary sounding here in Glasgow. I've got to go out to today, but the prospect of a bit of tenement hitting me means I'm getting a taxi.
My mate in Clydebank has just posted pictures on Facebook of what's left of his shed and his kids metal framed trampoline upside down in a garden about three houses down.

Pretty bad here in Linlithgow, OUr trees in the garden are down, the woody bit behind my house has half its trees down, some on the main Glasgow edinburgh train line. Neighbours trees are down and taking teh fence with them. Sky dish pole is completley bent.

I think the trains have been stopped and flights may be delayed out of Edinburgh.

Mate just lost the doors from his kids playhouse.

Feel well proud i do, as did with my own hands

Quite blowy and the occasional downpour here in Berkshire, but it can't be that bad as I currently have some tree men in taking down a 40' tree....rather them than me in this weather!!!

That's nuts! When I was taking CS30 and CS31 (chainsaw courses) we were specifically warned against tree work in windy conditions. Presumably they are taking it down in small chunks? Some photos of them at work in this would be interesting.

Its a bit blowy here in the Pays de La Loire, and a bit wet. But I don't think anyone will be calling me for emergency tree work today. :(
