I have been given a set of old 1982 Pioneer 767 speakers and i love them! They sound brilliant connected to my 7.1 Yamaha receiver. Theres only one problem... there is a small tear (2cm rip) on the speaker cone. Even though it doesn't effect the sound that much, would the tear eventually spread? I was going to use black tap and stick it on the back of the speaker or should i get it done professionally? I have been researching on how to repair speakers, it says you can use tissue paper and glue over the tissue paper which seems to fix it. But this would make the speaker look really ratty and look... crap lol. Is there any other way i could fix the speaker? Thanks for reading, any advise or help would be great
