Well thanks to my girlfriends, friends little child. i know have a pair of recked Q Compacts where she thought she would push the tweeter in on both and pushed the tweeter in on my new B&W CCR60 centre.

Does anyone know how much it would be to get the Q compacts fixed. B&W is gonna cost £50 inc parts & labour.

now back to my serious huff

    Thanks

Give Kef a ring, they have always been very helpful with my enquiries.

grilles are are now to prevent any further damage. B&W is quoted as £50 so just need to get hold of Kef on Monday to a quote.

I rang kef to replace a q tweeter on a q9c. £15 for the part and the local hifi dealer fitted it for a tenner.

25 quid i'd rather not have spent but it was good job done and good value.

    Good luck.

ok - well the unfortunate child's parents are having to foot the bill so not really fussed at cost - just an inconvience for me.
