Hi everyone,
I'm looking for some opinions regarding buying a new surround speaker set. At this moment I use the KEF KHT2005 5.1 series with the HTC3001 SE center speaker. I plan on buying a new receiver (Denon AVR-X4300h) and want to upgrade my sound system as well.
On whathifi I see the Dali Zensor 1 5.1 set gets a lot of praise. This would cost me about €1100,- for only the speakers. I also found a good looking second hand set of the Dali Concept 5.1 including:
- Concept 1 * Back Speakers
- Concept 6 * Front Speakers
- Concept * Center Speaker
- Concept * SUB-Woofer
- Two standards for the Concept 1's
- Two low standards for the concept 6's
- and good cables.
The set is 5 year old and according to the seller not used very much. This would set me back about €750,-
We have a middle sized room of about 4x6meters.
I use the set for movies, music and playing records.
There are not many reviews to be found about the Dali Concept series. So I'm curious what everyone thinks about these options? Or maybe some of you even think I should stick with the KEF's until I can afford more high-end speakers.
