I'm also planning on picking it up as soon as it's released. I've also heard some glowing reports about it (mostly from Lovecraft fans) over at AICN.

I'm waiting for the DVD to actually be released instead of pre-ordering though, because there was some talk of it getting a minor theatrical release in the US. If that happens, I'm guessing the DVD release will be pushed back, at least temporarily.

But, if you're a Lovecraft fan, or a Stuart Gordon, then considering the price, you can't go wrong.

The DVD's already released and it's already had its minor theatrical run. It played a few festivals in the UK too.

Yep, play now lists it as released. (as of today)

I'll order it as soon as I can find somewhere that has it in stock. (I'm cagey about ordering stuff that's not in stock)

I'll post my impressions of the flick as soon as I watch it.

Only had a quick look at it but it looks very good - nice lovecraft monsters - Just wish Brian Yuzna + Stuart Gordan would get on with Beyond Reanimator

    Hi Rambo
Thats great news on Beyond reanimator - Is Jeffrey Combs still in it?? I know it will need a new bad guy as David Gale ??(i think) died - is it still set in a prison??

Last thing I heard Combs was definitely back as Herbert West, locked up and conducting new experiments in prison. The story details are still pretty hush-hush but production was supposed to be underway a while ago. Which is nice.

Re Dagon, DVDBO shipped me a faulty disc so that's gotta go back for replacement:mad: As soon as it reached the flaying, I entered pixel hell and got a bit peeved as I was well into the final third of the film when the rug was pulled from under me. It's a shame as it was the fastest shipping time I'd ever known from DVD Box Office (about 4 days in transit).
