    Hi,

Does anyone know where to get a good review or do they have a curently shipping Daewoo 42"? What are they like? Are they a waste of money? What is the impression of them in the market?

    Thanks.

I don't fancy your chances of finding a good review on this plasma. Why are u interested in it? It would have to be very very cheap as the competition in the £1-1500 arena is stuffed with much better kit than this. Browse and search these forums for some very good advice....then go and buy a panny :D

    nits2004,

I recently bought a different make of 'similar' quality. I immediately sold it for half the retail price (that I'd just paid) so that I can get a PWD7 (highly superior - and less than my original plasma).

I can't advise you strongly enough to read these forums then buy a panny (almost the only advice you'll see here).

Resist EVERY temptation to go against the advice on these forums.

    thanks,

Yeh, i am being offered one very cheap. a mate has bought one and says they are good. He is not too familiar(like me) to plasmas. What is an "inbuilt tuner?". It also comes with 2 speakers (i plan to get surround sound system anyway). Seems like everyone loves panasonic on these pages.

    Cheers

A plasma is just a computer monitor. A tuner allows it to function like a TV. If you are at all interested in picture quality, then there must be a reason why everyone here says panasonic.
