Steve will buy this for the Dolby Vision and Sound.... I most definitely will give this a miss even with the great John Lithgow it's a no go....

This movie is nowhere near as bad as many make out. We, as a family, went into this expecting to hate it because of the bad reviews. We enjoyed it and in my book is better than 70% of the super hero rubbish that seem to get great reviews here. Just sayyyiiiin.

I genuinely loved this movie! I'd find it hard not to like anything with the cast in this though.

I did a double take when I seen this had gotten an 8/10...

I watched the first 5mins of the first, and that was enough for me to know it was a 1/10 movie.

If you haven’t actually seen either film you shouldn’t comment on how good/bad you think they are.

It's a fun, easy family-oriented movie... With Mel Gibson's retrograde character as the highlight!

Was a nice way for him to rehabilitate his image...

It's interesting that his only "flaw" in the movie was his inability to express his love for his son...

It seems odd, when all of the other characters have bigger flaws... Pehaps the filmmakers assumed we'd find his woman chasing a character flaw... the guy is single, the women are up for it... chase away!

But yes, it was refreshing to see a positive representation of masculinity and of fatherhood... old school "man up" advice included!

You do Have a good point, despite all the hostility justice league got I still bought and watched it, and although I’m not going to say it’s there with MCU, it’s an ok film

As Hixs stated, I did exactly that went to watch 1st film and turned off as felt the cringe factor coming in,

But we should give all movies a chance, I will definitely give the 1st one a watch , wouldn’t be the 1st time I’m never getting a few lost hours of my life back

I’m def intrigued by the cast in this one

      "Demo material"?
Picture the scene - you have just completed your labour of love 4K home cinema install, months in the making, components handpicked for maximum AV enjoyment. You have gathered your nearest and dearest together for the grand unveiling. Now, what to show them? Your run your finger along the spines of your UHD collection, Thor Ragnarok? No....Guardians of the Galaxy 2? No.....The Blue Planet 2? Maybe....Blade Runner 2049? No.....
Hang on a minute....what's this?......this is the one!

      Sorry, couldn't resist. ;)
