I would be interested to hear from anyone with DAB installed in the car as to how different manufacturers have implemented DAB text. I had assumed (wrongly) that text implementation would be standard across all DAB units, ie the contant scrolling/updating of data that I saw on the £99 Pure Evoke that I bought the parents 2 years ago. Having spent nearly 8 times this on a Pioneer DEH-7500MP & external tuner, I was horrified to find that Pioneer have no regard whatsoever for DAB text. Apparently it is important for Pioneer owners to be able to play short video clips on the head unit (WHY???) but it is of no importance to be able to easily view the information being transmitted by DAB stations! This is not purely a DAB issue but in Pioneer's case also applies to RDS text, MP3 tags & CD text but I can live without those.
