    Hi all,

I currently listen to podcasts on an MP3 player when motorbiking around the country (yes I can still hear the traffic!!) & while this is great, sometimes I run out of good things to listen to. I've tried a normal AM/FM jobbie & all I pick up is the sound of the engine. Does anyone know if I'll get reception from a DAB personal?

    Thanks,

    PMF

I got a Pure personal DAB radio for listening to when riding my cycle to work. I took it back because I was so disappointed with it. The sound quality is fantastic but it all depends which direction you're facing! You go round a bend and suddenly you lose the signal altogether. Crap. I had originally tried one I bought from Aldi for £50, but took that back and bought the Pure for £100 thinking it would be better. If anything it was worse! Signals may be stronger in different parts of the country but I live in Derby and thought I should be OK. In my experience DAB radio is definitely not for use when mobile.
