    Hi all

Happy New Year, A friend of my fathers has offered me his D800 but has close to 68k actuations

What is a fair price for this and any issues with getting one with such high actuations - I know they are rated for over 200k actuations

    Thanks
    Paul

I'd have a look in the Archived Classifieds for previous D800 sales....

I've not seen any in the classifieds for a while tbh, either here or TP, but you can buy mint used with 30k actuations for £1099 and you get 12m warranty with this. Assuming mint I wouldn't want to be paying any more than £900 based on this, probably less tbh.

Agree with Snerkler, seem to be going for about £1000 on ebay sold with ~3k shutter count.

I'd try get it for about £800-850 as no warranty. Otherwise i'd be tempted to get from a used store and pay the little extra for piece of mind and get 12m warranty.
