    Hi everyone,
I am having problems uploading ringtones or images to my D500 using easy studio2, the ringtone and image icon are both ghosted and cannot be selected.
I have reloaded easy studio twice and purchased a usb and serial data cable, both have the same problem.
I can view my phonebook and send sms via pc/phone so part of the program seems to work.
Can anyone help, thanks in advance.

You need to use the "File Explorer" option from the EasyStudio menu to upload tones etc.. to the phone. It's easier with IR as you can just choose send in WinXP and the phone just puts it in the right folder

Its easier with bluetooth, just right click on tone/pic/vid and choose send to bluetooth device :)

No as I said you just right click the file on your pc and choose send to bluetooth.

You can still use easy studio tho with bluetooth, I use it to preview mmf tones and to backup edit my phonebook.

Havn't sent any games to phone yet.

On my old V600 i used to just right click the jad and jar and send to bluetooth.

Don't know if that will be the same for the sammy

i have recently purchased a data cable for my samsung e700 and have installed the correct software to go with it however i cannot open my address book or add/recieve any images from my fone. when i realised i needed to connect to my fone via gprs i did so entering my country and operater, however this is where the fun starts the program then auto maticallly gave me a user name and passwrod which i can change but havent because i dont know what too and so i stuck with the default. i pressed accept and then select and thought great now all i had to do was press connect but then it said 'AT command error' if anyone can help me out or even take a quess that would be most appreichiated. thank you.
please email me or add me on msn.

Speaking as someone who has just spent two weeks of UTTER frustration with cable and oddly named "Easy" Studio - please just buy a Dongle and do the Bluetooth thing!! :lease:

It really is as easy as right clicking on a file!

I took my cable back to the shop I bought it and got a complete refund and an exasperated sigh from the guy as "I wasn't the first THAT DAY"!!

It's a great phone and when you manage to get music on it it's a very passable MP3 player too

Agree with the BT vs Cable, I use an old bluetooth dongle that had not really seen the light of day since I lost my T68i,and it works flawlessly with the D500, and will upload or download anything I ask of it, between the D500 and my PC.

Cables are hassle, and are just so yesterday!!!! :D :)

:lease: I would love to know how to do this. I've been trying for days. Tried via BT & cable. Not using the PIMS studio, I found the Carphone warehouse headset manager much easier to use & upload ringtones etc. Just can't get Rayman Bowling on. HELPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP (please)
