Does anybody know if there is any difference between the 1080p/24 function in the D3000 and the W3000 ?
I know that D3000 does not support any 720p/24, but what about the W3000 ?

720p24 is not a common video format. I don't think many (any?) devices output it.

Both D3000 and W3000 have 24p Tru Cinema so will show it at an accurate rate without the 3:2 judder that you might suffer with 60Hz video. Obviously the D3000 has to reduce the final output resolution so some detail will be lost.

720p/24 is coming from x264 stuff from the PC.
But do you know if there is some improvement in the W3000 Tru cinema function or is it exactly the same as in D3000 ?

I had a d3000 and it went back because of the horrid 1080/24p juddering, also i have just sent my w3000 back for a refund, but the 24p playback on that was a vast improvement over the d3000.
