D300 test shots I'm impressed !

Well I thought I would push my D300 and see worst case what it can do with the following settings and lens.

No processing, straight from camera.

ISO set to 1600
70-300VR lens at 300mm with a 1.4 Kenko teleplus pro 300 converter, to say I'm impressed is an understatement the lack of noise is amazing!

However the down side is the D300 is a different beast to my D80 and is going to take some time to get to know:D

I made the move from D80 to D300 at the beginning of the year and have really enjoyed getting to know the D300, I am sure you will as well ;). The high ISO capability coupled with VR lenses give great flexibilty.
