    Hi,

I'm considering purchasing the Pioneer VSX-D2011 & Acoustic Energy EVO 3B Speaker Package. I'm wondering if I'll be able to connect the speakers to the D2011 using cables such as the QED Silver Anniversary terminated with 4mm banana plugs at both the speaker & reciever ends? I'm asking as I have not yet physically seen the D2011 or EVO 3B speakers & am unsure of the connection types. I've never had any good quality equipment like this (currently own Videlogic Digitheatre DTS sub/sat unit with the basic springclip terminals where the bare speaker wire is connected) & so am unfamiliar with the connectivity.

Thanks in advance for any feedback or advice..

4mm Banana plugs will be fine - though there'll probably be little stoppers in the end of the sockets on the amp end which need levering out with a screwdriver or similar.

The little plastic stoppers in the 2011 can be tricky to get out..... but I seeem to be the only one with fumble hands around here....

A cork screw worked best for me with the stoppers.
