Hi :hiya: tried searching for this but nothing came up apologies if this is covered elsewhere.

    saw this mp3 streaming device http://www.dlink.com/products/?pid=318# .
are there any reviews or info on this.
Amazon have sold 600 of these so someone must know something. (hopefully someone here).
It does divx video as wellso it looks more versatile than the roku and sqeezebox devices.
    It's only £135.00 as well
I don't want to be a test pilot but the specs look brilliant........

    thanks in advance.

Looks really interesting, do you run MCE?
Only the media center extenders will be officially available in the UK this summer, they will do the same thing but add live and recorded tv functionality which sounds quite cool :)

    Hi...

Ok, so all the media files are on your main PC, and you use a wireless extender thing to stream them into the lounge? Sounds like a good idea, I don't know of this particular player but similar ones have reported problems with file compatibility and functionality, so research is the key.... or a good returns policy!

    MCE is Windows Media Center.

That was the plan. there is new firmware released about a month ago so it looks like they are still improving the product.
The only thing holding me back is lack of product exposure in the marketplace.
thanks for your input much appreciated :)

    Hi

I've got one- I don't use it anymore as I built a HTPC for my cinema room

\the DSM 320 is a decent enough product- It does what it says on the tin as far as my experience goes- I wanted HDTV as well though, I'm greedy :D

The one thing you might want to check is if it has component or scart- mine came with scart, but some countries get component instead

For that much money, very impressed

    thanks
just checked the UK site and appears we get the scart option. It also has
s-video so for me thats ok with digital and analogue outputs.
    I'm convinced now.
    Thanks to all for advice

I may sell mine if you're interested. It's only 4 months old but I don't need it anymore.
