    Hi
I've been searching around for a PCI "DAB" radio card.
I've found a couple, but nobody has them in stock.

What i find strange is that there isn't plenty of choices.
The PC is the perfect medium for "digital" radio.
The CPU can do all the processing if needed, and then pipe it around the network etc.

Ideally i would like a card that will work with MCE2005....any ideas? :)

not quite the same ... but hauppauge have a beta driver that allows the freeview radio stations to be available with a nova-t in MCE. not tried it myself, head over to their support forum for more info.

Your in luck mate, a few months ago a very well respected DAB RAdio manufacturer just released a USB DAB radio, which has the option of using the suppplied ariel or an outdoor one, i'll have a look if I can find it for you...there was only one PCI DAB radio, but it's hard to get hold of, you should get the USB one if you really want one...

Look out for Psion wavefinder. These are USB and probably going cheap on ebay these days. The RadioScape software shown on the link above works with it too. Wierd design but seem to work well. I've got one upstairs somewhere...... must dig it out!

Doubt anyone has a diver for XPMCE unless there's a customer written BDA type driver.

Get Media Portal....its like XPMCE but better and free! Developed daily with the CSV's. Supports DVB EPG, DTT radio (higher bitrate than DAB) and lots more.

The Wavefinder does not work with XP Service PAck 2, and there is no fix for it.
