have recently upgraded from a cyrus IIIi to an 8X. had IIIi modified by cyrus dealer to allow a PSX-R to be used.. Now want to move IIIi on to a friend and need to know which leads require swapping inside the IIIi to return it to the original setting and allow it to be used as a `stand alone`. Nearest Cyrus dealer is 200 mile round trip away!!

I don't know if it's the same principle, but my cyrus2 just required a fuse being replaced if used without the psx.

    Try here:

    http://www.cyrusunofficial.co.uk/

There's plenty of info available on that site. I did it on my old Cyrus III and IIRC it involved swapping over a couple of cables. Took longer to take the case off!

    Hope this helps.
