    Hi all,

Anybody have any experience with this centre speaker. A local retailer is selling them off and Im just wondering whether to go for it.

I currently have 2 kef cresta 2 floor standing speakers and an Arcam AVR200. Im looking to buy the rears soon, so could I use the cyrus to form a decent setup?

    Any input would be great.

    Thanks

    Gary

Gary - the Cyrus speaker is very nice but i would try and keep the Front 3 speakers the same as you will have a mismatch across the LCR.

    Hi,

The Cyrus is a great centre, in my humble opinion. However, getting hold of the matching Front speakers at a decent price is quite tricky.

I finally chased some down on ebay

The Cls 50c works well with my Denon 3802 and with the Cls 50 front pair is a definate improvement over the Acoustic energy evo front 3 that I tried

Thanks for the reply's guys. Some more food for thought as the Kef's need replacing at some point but I have no plans to do that just yet.

The Cyrus seemed a bit of a bargain at 100 quid.

    Cheers

    Gary

I`ve been using a Cyrus CLS50C withe a pair of Proac D15s for a while. Its a brilliant speaker. Incredibly clear. I was thinking of getting the Proac CC1 (£600) but can`t see the point. The Cyrus is superb.
You can pick the matching Cyrus CL50 bookshelf speakers at good prices now. Around £150.
