I have just bought my "Cyberhome" Portable DVD player (badged as MP Man) and have a couple of questions about the battery.

    1. Why can't you use the "car" power adaptor to charge the battery?

It could be that the battery draws more current than the adaptor provides.

However, I am wondering if there may be some 'rule' about charging batteries in a car, so rather than say "don't do it", they say "You will damage the unit if you do".

Is this really a technical limitation??

    2. Can you charge the battery when its connected to the DVD player or do you have to remove it first??

ANy info on this would be appreciated

    Jon
