    Hi all,

I'm pretty new to home cinema and I've got a question/problem.
I'm using a cyberhome 528 DVD-player and I can't get DTS decoded by my amps (not on the Sony STR-DB 1070 and not on the Denon AVR-3802). The amps gives no sound at all and don't indicate any incoming signal.
But when I took the player over to a friend's house, his amp (Sony something 50ES - don't know the exact model) decoded DTS just fine with my player hooked up!!
The DVD is set to output DD/DTS and I've tried both the optical and co-ax connections...

Can anybody explain this to me?
