    Right people

The boss at home is beginning to complain :nono: about speakers, we are refurbing the area and as a compromise ( i just bought the arcam 350 and 137 )she wants speakers in wall for front's and centre, are the B&W CWM LCR 7's good enough for all three? i need some sound ( pardon the pun ) advice here, both films and music are of equal importance. any recommendations :lease:

I would recommend auditioning the PMC Wafer range of speakers that work particularly well with Arcam electronics. They do an in-wall version of both models.

    The Wafer 1 in-walls are £1300 a pair and the bigger Wafer 2 in-walls are £1900 a pair.

    Quick update

Went in to test the PMC wafer units but were not in store did however give the Artcoustic DF65-50's a run and was very impressed, coupled with the big naim sub, DF multi centre and Diablo mini rears made for some nice noise, very good with music (at least to my un-trained ear) and very impressive with 5.1 surround, may have to be a  and fork out, got to test the wafers first. have a gander at these http://www.artcoustic.com/download/DF-65-50.pdf
also like the fact i can have a digital pictute taken and added to the front

I urge you to listen to the Wafers before making a decision, they are a worthy competitor to the Artcoustic range of speakers.

    Another update

Went into store and heard the wafer series 1, on wall units in stereo only with no sub going through the Arcam 350. what can i say but :D, an incredible bass level for such a speaker. Listened to NAIM JAZZ cd followed by dark side of the moon. Performed so well i couldn't believe no sub hooked up. Thanks crusty for the advice, now what rears and sub to go with them  PS. Offering at £550 a speaker but think with full package (LCR) rears and a sub plus sonos players etc a deal to be had somewhere.

Had B&W CWM LCR 7 istalled at home as three at the front. They sound great hooked up to a Denon 4306. I also used 2 FPM 4 as rears and a PV1 for a subwoofer.
