Custom Build Laptop

Hi All,

On the lookout for a new laptop upto around £1k, I've an order in with PCSpecialist, however, they are taking ages to build the laptop. Are there any other custom builders in the UK, or any other pre-built systems to consider?

Given there aren't many laptop base platforms (largely Clevo and MSI) then it may well be that whatever component they're waiting on is scarce generally and you won't have much luck with a different retailer.

If you're after a gaming machine then Cyberpowersystems offers custom machines, although they do tend to have power hungry graphics cards so may not be ideal for other uses.
