I’d push for a Sony xh model, paying the extra
I have just spoke to the guy on the Careplan helpline and explained that my old screen was a VA, and that their recommendation prices was based on an IPS screen. He was happy to fill in a settlement dispute form, and he asked me for a suggestion, and I gave the Sony you recommended.



Thank you to all of you for the help here. Fingers crossed I get the Sony.

Is that Sony better than the LG and Samsung 8K offering that is at £1300?
The LG CX is a very good tv, but it is OLED; different tech, different pro’s/cons. Look at @Dodgexander guide, both CX and XH9505 will be in there.

don’t even bother looking at 8k TVs; there is no content around for 8k and simply not worth it.
