Currently own an LCD but actually thinking of buying a Plasma next time

I own an LG37" LH3000 and it was an upgrade from my JVC 28" CRT which cost new about £350.

Whilst definition (obviously!) is much improved and the colours are more present and blacks are deep when I retire to bed to continue watching TV on my JVC CRT (that's been relegated to the bedroom) the colour tones, shadowing, contrast wow me in comparison to my LG LCD. They just look better, the picture just looks better for overall colour and contrast.

I've played around with the settings on the LCD ALOT, used some from the test cards page and also used a specific bluray setup test cd.

The colours and such on the JVC just seem alot more natural and correct even though it has just a fration of the setup options which i've set.

I'm hoping Plasma will allow me to experience a more CRT type picture in terms of contrast, shadowing, colour's etc as at the moment I'm not overly happy with my LCD from that point of view.

Regards and thanks.
